JANE TRIPP

Jane Tripp was born in Derbyshire in 1955. She grew up in the beautiful countryside within sight of the mysterious Peak District, a setting that provided the foundation for much of her inspiration. She is completely self-taught, having had no formal art education (for which she is grateful!), and works in mixed water media, although the bulk of her work is executed in colored pencil on watercolor paper.

Jane works intuitively, at a meditative visionary level, revealing a hidden landscape within the more apparent one, a world which is numinous and filled with mythic potential and archetypal symbology.

She lives in BC, Canada, and is married with three children, all musicians and/or visual artists. Now that her children have been raised, she plans to pursue her art career most seriously and has many projects in the offing, including an on-line art course (see the NEWS section) designed to open up peoples intuitive capabilities and allow them to personally express themselves in a creative way that puts them gently in touch with elemental forces. These energies are often very happy to co-operate in any artistic work, but the lesson’s focus will be entirely on painting using water media.

Her other interests include Geomancy, cryptozoology, 'hidden history', Earth sciences, Earth magic and healing modalities, particularly those that aid in planetary healing. She believes personal healing can and should be linked intimately to the healing of the Earth.

Jane is also a Reiki Master and a psychic photographer who has the ability of capturing elemental life forms as well as human and animal apparitions, ufos and interdimensional shifts on camera. She is here with a mission to help reveal other dimensions to people and aid in their awakening at this time, and is more than happy to follow her continually expanding vision of love and respect for all life-forms in all possible worlds and dimensions.

Jane's paintings have appeared in many publications and are appreciated world-wide. Her work is now available in the form of posters, cards, calendars and more, and can be purchased from the SILVERBRANCH shop through the menu link.
