NEWGRANGE

Newgrange is a passage-tomb in County Meath, Ireland. It has beautifully carved kerbstones and is similarly decorated elsewhere inside the tomb. Although it is not sure what all of its functions may have been it was clearly once very important to the people who lived here over four thousand years ago. Their spirit remains palpable and many of those who visit today still feel this ancient connection at what is clearly a sacred place, the inward and outward flow of the beautiful carved spirals on the stones depicting the Goddesses' cycles of birth, death and regeneration followed by rebirth.
